In collaboration with Montgomery County Recreation and Carpe Diem Arts, this Cultural Heritage Concert Series concert features Arab American heritage alongside Scottish American heritage (both of which are celebrated during the month of April). Join me, poet Zeina Azzam, and bassist Amy Shook as we explore Arab American heritage through the lens of poetry and jazz, as well as musicians Elke Baker and Liz Donaldson for the other half of the program, presenting Scottish music. Free and open to the public!
